Ferry Sloops' "Summer Music Series" begins the season with a performance by Sarah Browne with special guest Greg Jacquin on Wednesday, June 3 at 7:30pm in the clubhouse at Shattemuc Yacht Club.
Sarah's songwriting style is characterized by her ability to create tantalizing melodies that take on an integral part of each song in her debut album is entitled, To You. Her lyrics are poetic and honest in a straightforward, unassuming way.
She plans on using music as a platform to spread awareness about Friedreich’s Ataxia, which is a rare, genetic disease that took the life of her cousin, Matthew Rupel, in August 2017. She decided to dedicate her upcoming album to him because he was an endless source of encouragement and support for Sarah from the time she started playing music.
Sarah has performed in 100+ shows at venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, The Mercury Lounge, the Turning Point, the Pleasantville Farmers Market and many more. Sarah's music has been featured on The Peak 107.1 FM and on WHUD 100.7 FM.
Special guest, Greg Jacquin
