About the Event

Areas along the Hudson River and throughout Westchester, provide important habitats to a wide variety of local and migrating bird species.

Join us to learn more as Anne Swaim shares beautiful images, sounds, videos of Westchester birds across the seasons and in various county birding hotspots. Tips on how to start birding and how to have bird-friendly, bird-safe properties whether residential, business or community-owned will also be covered.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Anne Swaim is Executive Director of Saw Mill River Audubon, a local chapter of National Audubon based in Chappaqua. She began as Staff Naturalist and sole employee of Saw Mill River Audubon in 1989. Anne has served as Executive Director since 2004, now working together with four staff and dozens of volunteers to maintain eight wildlife sanctuaries, offer over 200 free public programs & field trips annually and help connect people with nature.

There will be a Q&A after the program.
