Evening Cruise on the Hudson River

Join Ferry Sloops aboard the “Evening Star” for a 3-hour sightseeing cruise on the Hudson River on Wednesday, July 24, 2019. The fundraising cruise will depart from the Riverfront Green Park in Peekskill at 6pm and returning at 9pm.

Enjoy a summer evening on the beautiful Hudson River as you cruise through the Hudson Highlands, past Jones Pt., Iona Island, Bear Mountain, Fort Montgomery, West Point and Worlds End.

The cruise includes a historical commentary and a live musical performance by acoustic singer-songwriter Jason Gisser. 

There will be a potluck supper aboard, so please bring a dish to share. Soft drinks, beer & wine will be available for purchase on the boat. You MAY NOT bring your own alcoholic beverages aboard.

Tickets for the 3-hour fundraiser cruise are only $50 per person.

All the funds raised on the cruise will enable Ferry Sloops to continue its mission to bring people to the Hudson to sail the waters, learn the history and its environment, so that they can appreciate the river and make a commitment to keep its water cleaner and safer for future generations. 

ABOUT THE MUSIC ARTIST 

Jason Gisser's original brand of music is funky acoustic soul rock. He also plays covers from classic rock... to the funkier more dance oriented side of music... to soul music that can melt the soul. He has performed in venues such as; Daryl's House, The Paramount Theater, The Towne Crier, Mexicali Live, The Falcon, and has opened for national acts such as; Three Dog Night, Grand Funk Railroad, Lukas Nelson & The Promise of the Real, and Hoobastank.
