Fundraiser Sail on the Sloop Clearwater

Our sister-organization Riverlovers, invites you to join their members and friends on Friday, September 23, 2022 for a fundraiser sail aboard the Sloop Clearwater for an unforgettable experience on the Hudson River. Once aboard the 106 ft. gaff-rigged sloop, you'll be able to participate in raising the mainsail and even meet the Captain at the helm to take a turn on the tiller. Learn about the ecology, history, and environmental challenges of the Hudson River from the crew and visit their fish tank to see some Hudson River Critters.

The 3-hour sail will depart from the Beacon Ferry Terminal at 3:00pm with boarding beginning at 2:30pm.

The cost of the sail is a $45 suggested donation. (Regularly $75/$60 for members)

COVID/ Vaccination Policy

• All passengers must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test from within 24 hours of the sail.
• Masks must be worn when boarding and disembarking the Sloop.
• Passengers may remove their masks once the vessel has left the dock.
