About the Event

In April 2022, New York took a bold step toward a greener future by finalizing contracts for two groundbreaking energy projects—Clean Path NY and the Champlain Hudson Power Express (CHPE). These initiatives will bring renewable wind and solar power from upstate New York and hydroelectric energy from Canada straight to New York City. Remarkably, a large stretch of the transmission lines will run beneath the iconic Hudson River.

Join Riverkeeper’s Senior Attorney, Drew Gamils, for an exclusive look into these transformative projects. This presentation will explore the progress of Clean Path and CHPE, offer insights into their environmental impact, and explain how you can stay informed and engaged in shaping New York's clean energy future.

There will be a Q&A after the program.
